VECTORSIS Inc.'s immersive/intelligent auto-tracking system software, XRTS v1.0, has received KOLAS certification. This certification is a result of VECTORSIS’s research project, "Development of an AI Model for Improved Object Recognition Accuracy through Transfer Learning and Auto-Tracking System SW Development Using It," officially recognizing the software’s excellence and reliability.
XRTS v1.0 demonstrated outstanding performance across various metrics, including rendering speed in mixed reality (MR) environments, object recognition accuracy, recognition speed, same-person tracking accuracy, and movement path visualization accuracy, excelling in all evaluation criteria.
KOLAS (Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) is a recognized verification body in Korea that ensures compliance with national standards across testing, inspection, and calibration fields. KOLAS certification is based on ISO/IEC standards, and accredited test reports are internationally trusted documents. With mutual recognition agreements (MRA) in place, KOLAS certification also facilitates cross-border trade without additional testing costs, offering cost savings. To successfully advance the "Digital Transformation" emphasized by President Yoon Suk-yeol and the new administration, industry, academia, and research experts gathered to explore ways to apply digital platforms and the metaverse across various industries.
On the 17th, the Gyeonggi Informat http:// ion Industry Association (GIIA, chaired by Professor Yang Jae-soo) and the Dankook University SW-Centered University Project Group held a joint spring seminar at the aT Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The seminar was themed “Revitalizing the Smart Industrial Ecosystem through SW-Based Digital Platform Construction and Metaverse Utilization.”
The seminar was hosted by GIIA and Dankook University’s SW-Centered University Project Group, organized by Dankook University’s Industry-Academic Cooperation Group and the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (Academic-Industrial Collabo R&D Project), and supported by Gyeonggi Technopark, Gyeonggi TP Southeastern Region Business Group, ICT Polytechnic University, and the Korea Broadcasting and Telecommunication Industry Cooperative.
In the first session, chaired by Professor Yeon Seung-ho from Kyung Hee University, presentations were made on the theme “Revitalizing Korea with IoT, Data, and AI-Based Digital Platforms.” In the second session, led by Lee Kyung-joo, CEO of YoYo Interactive, discussions focused on “Building a Metaverse Platform Powerhouse and Digital Media Industry Nation.”
Taehoon Kang, CEO of VECTORSIS, introduced his company's solutions with a presentation on “SCADA Implementation Technology and Mixed Reality Smart Building Control System Development Based on MS HoloLens.” Hye-young Lee, CEO of Spelab, presented on “AI-Based Data Processing Utilization and Smart Predictive Maintenance Platform Development.”
GIIA, the seminar host, was established in 2008 to promote ICT awareness across politics, society, economy, culture, and education in Gyeonggi Province through collaboration among industry, academia, research, and government. GIIA continues to engage in activities to advance the ICT industry, including proposing ICT policies and regulations, and gathering and disseminating information.

| Implementing Transfer Learning in Deep Learning |
In 2020, as part of the Startup Growth Technology Development Project, our company achieved remarkable results in the field of artificial intelligence technology. We meticulously labeled over one million data points collected from CCTV footage on the Dankook University campus and developed an advanced AI model using transfer learning techniques.
The newly developed AI model boasts more than double the object recognition capability compared to previous technologies, significantly enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of object detection. Through this achievement, we are showcasing new possibilities for AI-based video analysis technology, with plans to further advance in various application fields based on this technological foundation.
